FAQ

How much is shipping?

We offer $5 flat rate shipping, with free shipping if you spend $50 or more (both in the continental US only). For an international shipping quote, please contact us.

How exactly will my gift be packaged?

We take great pride in hand-packing our gifts, carefully folding the clothing and neatly placing them in the bag with any accessories the gift includes. All product comes in it's original packaging within the bag to keep it nice and new for your recipient. Any excess room in the signature G&P bag is filled with paper shred to keep anything from moving in transit.

In some occasions, the original packaging of a product is too large to fit in a gift bag. In these cases only these products will be packed in the box next to the gift bag containing the remaining products. If you have any questions regarding how your package will look when it arrives, please email us at hello@giftedandpresent.com and we will send you a photo representation.

The G&P gift bag is wrapped with white tissue paper and sealed with a maroon label, which also secures your handwritten gift note - the first thing your recipient will see when they open the the G&P celebration box.

Will my recipient get a receipt and/or see the prices?

No - no receipt or packing slip is included in our gifts, meaning that no prices will be exposed to the recipient. There will be an order number noted on the back of the gift card - in the event you or your recipient needs to reference the order please use this number so that we may locate your information in our system.

How long does it take orders to ship out?

Your order will be packed and shipped within 1-2 business days of placement. If you need something expedited, please contact us at hello@giftedandpresent.com and we will help you out in any way we can!

What if I need something on or by a specific date, or it's a gifting emergency?

What carriers to you use?

We use USPS ground for our orders, including all orders that qualify for free shipping within the continental US. For expedited or international orders we will use the shipping carrier that makes the best sense in terms of expedited timing.

Can I track my package?

Yes - no matter how we ship your package, you will be provided with a tracking number so that you can see exactly when it will arrive.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes! Please contact us at hello@giftedandpresent.com for specific directions as to how to have your gift shipped outside of the continental US.

How do you find the products you feature?

Our buying team has been in the retail industry for 15+ years and has a network of connections to scope out the most unique and giftable products around. We try to feature pieces by brands that are yet-to-be-discovered, and products that when put together become a thoughtful gesture from giver to recipient.

How can I get my product featured in one of your packages?

What's the Brooklyn connection?

Gifted and Present is headquartered in Brooklyn, a hotbed of giftable product and artisanal makers. We love showing our Brooklyn pride, and it's where the idea for every gift is born.

Hey - I live in Brooklyn, can I pick a gift up from you personally?

The answer is.......maybe. Although we work out of our office here, gifts are housed and shipped out of Pennsylvania. We may be able to accommodate you - get in touch at hello@giftedandpresent.com and we'll see what we can do!

What if there's a problem with my gift?

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly offer you an exchange or refund of the merchandise price within 30 days of receipt of product. In order to return your merchandise you must email us at hello@giftedandpresent.com for an RA number.  Merchandise sent without an RA number will not be processed and will be returned to the customer.  Please note that return shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the item received is incorrect or damaged. In that case, we will provide you with a return shipping label and expedite your replacement order.  

All returned merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging. 

Returns are refunded in the original payment form, less shipping and handling. Returns sent via USPS that arrive with postage due will be returned to sender. Please note that "sale" items are not returnable or exchangeable except for manufacturing defect. 

After 30 days, Gifted & Present cannot accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than manufacturing defects.

All custom gifts and gift certificates are final sale.
